About the race
It’s with great pleasure that the Temis Drag Fest committee presents to you, September the 2-3-4 2022, the one and only drag race on grass in Quebec. This race is new to the region and extremely coveted by snowmobile race enthousiastes from all over North America. With many years of experience as promoters for similar events, we are determined and motivated to create Canada’s most prestigious event of the type. Throughout the weekend our visitors will be diverted by various exhibitors. Saturday night there will be a professional band followed by a DJ. From Friday to Sunday, the nights will be filled with music under the marquee. Equally we will have on place food and drink services.This event will have more then positive economic impact on the region. Construction weekend assures us a higher number of both racers and spectators. Many of whom have already confirmed their presence.
When it comes to the technicalities, nothing is left to chance: an above standards course, a timer of the newest technology, a width of for corridors with a starting line on ice. ISR(International Snowmobile Racing ) regulations, 20 classes in the program. High speeds going up to 150 MPH (240km/h) on only 500 feet, racing vehicles going up to 1000 hp are expected, music and animations all day, the races will be diffused over large screens suring all thre days. Practices and a spécifique course will happen under lights on Friday night. More than 50 volunteers will be present to assure the success of the event.
